PILATES TEACHER LESSONS
DESCRIPTION
Teachers need teachers, the importance of maintaining our own practise cannot be underestimated.
Understanding exercises how to teach them, where they belong and how to develop them does not come from teaching alone.
Doing the work in your own body goes a long way to understanding the exercises as does the guidance of another teacher with the expertise to give you the correct verbal and hands on feedback
As an Authentic Pilates teacher my training took me to New York where I undertook the oldest and most traditional professional training program in the world, written by Romana Kryzanowska and Sean Gallagher and taught by Elaine Ewing.
If you are a teacher that has yet to discover Authentic Pilates or have never trained on classical equipment, book yourself in for a private lesson. The equipment will feel very different , heavier and unforgiving making you work for every repetition. This equipment was designed by Joseph Pilates to support his exercises and his exercise system.
